President
Ernie has over 32 years of diverse wireless engineering and technical experience having worked for TX RX Systems, Raytheon and Central Maine Power, and Mann Wireless, which he co-founded in 1998. After a successful tenure with the company, Ernie decided to focus on providing consulting services for the wireless industry and formed Mann RF.
Ernie is dedicated to offering the best-in-the-business engineering services and wireless solutions. He has extensive hands-on knowledge of DAS, small cell, bi-directional amplifier (BDA) and repeater technologies that support all major carriers and wireless protocols. He has expertise in LMR and public safety solution development and deployment. He also works with a team of engineers, integrators and installers to provide in-building wireless communications services for clients.
Ernie’s been in the middle of every technological advancement through the years, giving him a solid understanding of the networking foundations businesses have been built on. He’s seen first-hand the transition from Internet cables to WiFi, and the increased demand for connectivity. This gives him a unique advantage, as he can often spot problems that others cannot see and then quickly identify solutions. He is adept at trouble-shooting and providing cost-effective, turnkey solutions to clients.
Ernie has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has also published a book, “An Introduction to Radio Frequency Theory: Written for the Two-Way Radio Industry,” as well as several technical papers and presentations on radio frequency theory, wireless system design, and intermodulation and propagation modeling.
